The weather gods are blessing us with gorgeous mid-70s temps for the afternoon\, so leave the heavy winter coats at home. There’s a whisper of rain in the forecast for later that evening\, but we’ll already be well-lubricated and tucked inside a bar long before any water hits the pavement. \nYour hares—Just Victoria\, Hello Pity\, and DIDDY KONG\, MICRO DONG—are teaming up to bring you a glorious A-to-A crawl around East Nashville. What could possibly go wrong? \n🍺 THE DEETS\n\n\nWhen: Saturday\, October 31st | Gather: 1:00 PM | Start: 1:30 PM \n\n\nWhere: 945 Woodland St\, Nashville\, TN 37206 (Google Maps Link) \n\n\nParking: Free open lot across the street (belonging to Up-Down) or street parking wherever you can land your getaway vehicle. After scouting and limping back to the start and the verdict is in: this weekend’s trail is non-negotiable so make plans to be there.\nPussy Express and Just Jeff are bringing you The Green Humps—and they make very few promises\, other than committing to hare a trail while hauling Just Jeff’s enormous… sack of flour.\nHere is the good\, the bad\, and the absolute ugly for this weekend’s run:\nThe Good: It’s a manageable 5K A-to-A\, you can zen the entire second half if you dare\, but there’s an interactive side quest/game along the way. Plus\, a Turkey/Eagle split is looking very possible.\nThe Bad: Start sober or get completely wrecked. There is zero room for wheels\, motors\, or poor footwork and as out parents would say—it’s uphill both ways.\nThe Ugly: Shiggy rougher than your uncle’s beard. Expect thorns and briars so bring your shiggy gear and a blood transfusion for the circle.\nThe DetailsWhen: This Weekend | Pack Gathering at 1:30 PM | Hares Away at 2:00 PM\nWhere: Ravenwood Park (Hermitage\, near Lebanon Pike & Central Pike)\nWeather: Low 60s and clear. Absolute perfection.\nRefreshments: 100% chance of Fireball\, at least one beer stop (probably!)\, and absolutely zero water on trail because it’s getting cold and at least one hare is a pussy.
